How do I define my practice?

Through curiosity, care, and play.

I sit in the space between historical contemplation and whimsical wonder. I'm passionate about ingenuity— work that honours our humanity—and look to the natural world for inspiration.

My process prioritizes accessibility and honesty, but my production is fun: full of colour, texture, and a few intentional wiggles. I like to think of my work as thoughtful and fresh, but with a touch of mischief; I hope it makes you smile.

My name in Farsi means “the wind which blows from the East”, and it's spelled صبا.

What are my superhero powers?

I can speak in public without experiencing stage fright.

I'm an enthusiastic and avid story-teller.

I can identify a positive quality about any person or any situation.

What is my dream project?

It's a tie between:

Curating an exhibition at the V&A Museum; that would be my life's honour.
Design all the visual identity elements for a charming boutique hotel.

If you could do anything for free for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Organize spaces- a closet, a bookcase, or an archive, you name it.
