How do I define my practice?

Through curiosity, care, and play. I'm passionate about work that honours our humanity, and look to history and the natural world for inspiration.

My process considers accessibility and honesty, but my production is fun: full of colour, texture, and a few intentional wiggles. I like to think of my work as thoughtful and fresh, but with a touch of mischief; I hope it makes you smile.

What does my name mean?

My name in Farsi means “the wind which blows from the East”, and it's spelled صبا.

What are my superhero powers?

I can speak in public without experiencing stage fright.

I'm an enthusiastic and avid story-teller.

I can identify a positive quality about any person or any situation.

What is my dream project?

It's a tie between:

Curating an exhibition at the V&A Museum.
Design all the visual identity elements for a charming boutique hotel.

If you could do anything for free for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Organize spaces- a closet, a bookcase, or an archive, you name it.
