My most recent collaboration with the Yukon Literacy Coalition was a delightful resource guide created for first-time gardeners in the Yukon. Rooted in the experiences of local gardeners and plant enthusiasts, the publication brings together practical tips, shared stories, and valuable lessons from gardening in the North. Created as part of the “Planting Seeds: Building Northern Growers” project, the booklet accompanies a seven-week training module to support new growers. This initiative was made possible through the support of the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency (CanNor), the Government of Yukon, and the City of Whitehorse.
