Prepared as a wedding gift for dear friends, this piece is a physical interpretation of a prayer to bless the start of their marriage. The exterior of the box is painted acrylic with details in gold and pearl, inspired by tropical flowers, Mexican embroidery, French porcelain, and royal jewels. The interior is hand-lined with felt, using pom poms as filler stuffing to hold a collection of miniature bottles that each hold a hand-painted paper sculpture of a symbol dear to the bride and groom.
